Dr. Sharma is a distinguished biotechnology expert with over 15 years of national and international research experience in the field of agricultural microbiology. Holding a Ph.D. and Post doctorate research experience Dr. Sharma has a deep understanding of plant-microbial interactions, agriculturally important microorganisms (AIMs), plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), molecular biology and genomics of AIMs, industrial attributes of AIMs, plant’s nutrients, development and application of AIMs bioformulations for enhancing crop production by resilience against both biotic (plant diseases) and abiotic stresses. His work has made significant strides in improving crop productivity and environmental sustainability by leveraging the natural abilities of microorganisms to enhance soil health and plant growth.
